Initially, the whole decor was centered around a bonfire—complete with wedding favor s'more mix and baby trees.” “The minister was our dear friend, Eric Barnes, who became ordained so he could marry us. We picked Eric to be our minister because he knew us best as a couple. The three of us formed a strong friendship over countless nights of drinks and Rock Band. We know that we will always be close with Barnes, and choosing someone that will be an important part of our lives forever played a huge role.” “The single-most-important facet of our wedding day was to focus on our family and friends. This was not only a celebration for us, but a celebration for them. We wanted to honor those closest to us for being there for us. We wanted them to know … how important and influential they are in our lives.” — Jennalee Whiting 42 January 2012 rochestermagazine.com
